If you’re looking for the cheapest Nintendo Switch Lite, here’s a step-by-step guide to order a cheaper Nintendo Switch Lite console from across the world!
A Nintendo Switch Lite in Singapore used to cost as low as S$189, but ever since the global shortage due to Miss Rona, prices have shot up 95% to around S$369 locally. Crazy, I know. But the good news is, you can still get it at a lower price elsewhere – at least S$60 cheaper!
Plus, Animal Crossing is a good enough reason to get your hands on a Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch Lite. Trust me, you’ll be breeding flowers with me all day (anyone has a hack for quick Gold Roses?).
That’s why I’ve (yet again) scoured the internet to find you the cheapest Nintendo Switch Lite that you can buy and ship from overseas, fresh to your doorstep. To save you the trouble, I’ve also paired the some of the best freight forwarders to the respective online retailers so that you don’t have to comb through our Best US Freight Forwarders and Best UK Freight Forwarders guides again.

At the time of writing, Australia, USA, and Japan have the cheapest Nintendo Switch Lite consoles and shipping bundle, with a difference of only a few cents. While Canada seems to have the cheapest individual console, the shipping fees are quite a killer compared to other countries. Nonetheless, Canada’s bundle isn’t too far off – with just a few dollars more costly.
Getting a Nintendo Switch Lite in Australia from Big W: 1st Cheapest 🥇
Why Big W: Big W is one of the biggest electronics chains in Australia. The reason why we’re recommending it to you is because it doesn’t have any restrictions when shipping to freight forwarding addresses (looking at you, Best Buy)! It’s also one of the few retailers that’s well stocked with the Nintendo Switch Lite and is selling at the recommended retail price (RRP). Heads up! Big W’s Nintendo Switch Lite has been on sale at A$299 since April, but it ended in mid-July and prices rose to A$329. I recommend waiting it out for the sale to return, otherwise you can consider the second cheapest option below from the USA, which is only ~S$0.60 extra!
Getting a Nintendo Switch Lite in the US from B&H: 2nd Cheapest 🥈
Why B&H: Similar to Australia’s Big W, the USA electronics retailers B&H also charges in RRP. The Nintendo Switch Lite is currently out of stock (at the time of writing) but it’s being backordered, which means that stocks are on the way. Sign up for their restock notification and get ready to purchase when you receive their email. The console price is one of the lowest around, and the shipping through Comgateway is affordable as well!
Also, we’ve got a step-by-step Comgateway shipping guide for you to follow if you’re looking to buy through this option!
Getting a Nintendo Switch Lite in Japan from Nintendo Store JP: 3rd Cheapest 🥉
Why Nintendo Store JP: Most of the major retailers in Japan aren’t listing the Nintendo Switch or Switch Lite on their websites either because their website is overloaded from worldwide web searches or because they can’t get an exact date as to when it’ll be back in stock. There’s actually news about Switch shipments being suspended in Japan because of COVID-19 and other factors. With that in mind, only the official Nintendo Store itself is able to give an estimated restock date, and that’s in October 2020… yikes!

Getting a Nintendo Switch Lite in Canada from The Source
Why The Source: You may think that Amazon should be the go-to for electronics, but the thing about Amazon is that the same item can be listed for different prices – it feels like a network of various sellers, kinda like Carousell. Forget the hours of combing and head to The Source instead, because they list their Nintendo Switch Lite at RRP no matter if it’s physical or online.
One thing to note though, that shipping from Canada is really costly compared to other countries, but a wild guess from me is that maybe packages gotta be routed through the US to get to Singapore?

Getting a Nintendo Switch Lite in the UK from Currys PC World
Why Currys PC World: Unlike most electronic retailers, Currys PC World actually notifies you through email that their Nintendo Switch Lite is back in stock. And they list it with RRP too!
The great thing about ordering from the UK is that you can rely on vPost to get them shipped. I shipped over S$400 worth of computer parts, check out my vPost review here. Unlike other freight forwarders, vPost charge by actual weight. This means that if your package is 0.7kg, you’ll be charged 0.7kg, no matter how big your package box is – you won’t get a bill shock when your package arrives at the warehouse. Why is this a thing, you ask? We’ve got a simplified explanation here: Actual Weight vs Volumetric Weight.

Miss Rona vs Nintendo Switch Lite
The global shortage of both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite is real. Who would have thought we’d come to this? Production lines that were halted in February due to the pandemic have already resumed in March, but it can’t meet the global demand without operating at full capacity.
Don’t let that stop you though! With a bit of patience and perseverance, you’ll be able to unite yourself with the coveted Nintendo Switch Lite, and then both of you can enjoy quality time with each other whilst forgetting the realities of the world.
