Why Do I Love Starnic?

Starnic Aesthetic Group, also known as 星采醫美保養品 in Taiwan, was founded in 2008 as a medical aesthetic clinic that offer a wide range of services that include plastic surgery, beauty and laser treatments, micro injections, Emsculpt, and a whole lot of services that I haven’t seen before.

Till date, Starnic has become an award-winning brand with a total of 13 clinics across Taiwan and even in mainland China, and they’re also a medi-beauty retailer with dermatologically tested skincare products like cleansers, sheet masks, and essences. With over 100,000 followers on their Facebook page, they must be doing something right to be so popular!

Plus, Starnic even has their own YouTube channel to address everything and anything related to health and beauty troubles. I was surprised to find that they even have workout videos to get you in shape!
Can I Get Starnic Products in Singapore?
Unfortunately, like most homegrown Taiwanese brands, Starnic doesn’t ship to Singapore directly. But that doesn’t mean you can’t get your hands on these Taiwan exclusives!
We’ve got you covered step-by-step in our dummies guide to Taiwan online shopping so that you’ll know how to use a freight forwarder to ship your items to Singapore. It’s real easy!
Starnic’s Popular Products
1. D28 Moisturising Cleanser Powder & Foam

The Starnic D28 Moisturising Cleansing Powder & Foam (NT$298/~S$13.90) is an excellent example of Starnic’s innovative design. We all know about facial cleansers, some of which come in a dispenser bottle that creates a thick, puffy foam.
But this cleanser allows you to mix your own cleanser in the bottle – three packs of powder for the home pump bottle and one pack of powder for the travel pump bottle. Just add water to the bottle marks and voilà! Your cleansing foam is ready to use. This cleanser/makeup remover is also formulated to leave your skin feeling clean and soft without it feeling dry and stripped.
2. D28 Oil Control Cleanser Powder & Foam

The Starnic’s D28 Oil Control Cleansing Powder (NT$298/~S$13.90) is essentially the same as the moisturising version, but made for oily, and even acne-prone skin!
In addition to their signature papaya proteinase (an enzyme extracted from papayas, which Starnic has trademarked as X-pressin™) to accelerate the metabolism of dead skin cells, this oil control version also contains willow herb extract that helps to tighten pores and balance sebum!
3. Intensive Brightening Anti-Spot Serum

The Intensive Brightening Anti-Spot Serum (NT$1,620/~S$76.10) contains DermalRx® SRC, an exfoliation agent to metabolise dead skin cells with enzymes. Coupled with vitamin C glycoside and vitamin B3, it helps to gently even out your skin tone for clear, radiant skin without harsh chemical exfoliants or acids.
4. Repairing Oil Serum

This Starnic Repairing Oil Serum (NT$1,071/~S$50.10) is the answer to your troubled skin. Formulated with Glycosphingolipids to penetrate into your skin for deep repair, these drops also incorporate SyriCalm CLR™, a natural product derived from hoelen (better known as Fu Ling, a Chinese mushroom herb) and reed flower, which helps to reduce skin inflammation.
5. 3D Bio-Cellulose Mask

These Starnic 3D Bio-Cellulose Masks (NT$179/~S$8.40) features a 3D fit to fit your face perfectly and leave no skin un-moisturised, especially the nose and lips areas which are often left with gaps when using other sheet masks.
Infused with sweet almond extract that has excellent skin permeability, it also contains Matrixyl, a popular peptide that helps to improve skin elasticity. Perhaps the signature ingredient here is γ-PGA, a colloid found in natto, or fermented soybeans, that helps to lock in your skin’s moisture and delay skin ageing.
