Nestled in the quaint neighbourhood of Dalat is the Crazy House that looks… crazy. The house has 10 guest rooms that are each named after an animal or plant and are full of odd-looking pieces of furniture and fixtures that defy any sort of aesthetic rule or expectation. However, each room somehow comes together giving it a rather comfortable and homey feel, sort of like the home of a distant relative with different knick-knacks littered around. The space was designed by a local architect who wanted to move to Da Lat after falling in love with the environment and the people there. Instead of blueprints, she turned to the canvas to dream up her vision of how the house would look like.
