Looking back on our year in lockdown, it’s pretty clear who our MVPs were. Other than our trusty YouTrip cards, with which we juiced the benefits of online shopping, our constant support throughout the ups-and-downs of the pandemic was our pets — without whom we would have quite frankly gone bonkers. While we’re not actually creating an app for our pets, we do want to bring your attention to the strays & abandoned pets that don’t quite have the good life they deserve.
The reality is, these strays go day-to-day without a proper home, much less treats or toys.
While we’re glad that there are local societies that rescue, rehabilitate, sterilising & re-home as many of them as possible, funds are continuously and quickly depleting.
The success and extent of their efforts depend on the public’s generosity. So let’s support our local animal shelters and societies this April’s Fool!
