Seriously, Kmart is SUPER lit. You can find everything sans food and groceries in here. If you’re a serial (window) shopper like me, you could spend hours in Kmart.
Kmart is available in all eight states in Australia, so you’d never miss a great deal during your Aussie trip. 😎 Here’s the 6 types of best bargains you can haul home from Kmart in Australia!
1. Clothes

After getting over the sheer variety of items offered at Kmart, your instinct would be to head over to the fashion apparel section to check out what they have.
You won’t be disappointed, because tops start from A$7 (~S$6.30) and they even have printed tops from popular culture – Harry Potter, Sesame Street, Coca-Cola, Friends – you get it!
Are you looking for pants? Kmart’s got you covered with their range of pants that will make H&M and Uniqlo look overpriced. If you look hard enough, you might be able to find something that you like that’s on clearance, which means it’s even cheaper than the pictured price!
2. Footwear

Kmart is a great place to go emergency shopping for when you’ve forgotten to pack some important things. Need a pair of slides for your beach outing? Get yourself a pair of Everlast slides for A$8 (~S$7.40)!
Also check out these Yeezy lookalikes going for A$27 (~S$24.70). Zara has similar designs too, but they usually retail around S$90 – that’s almost S$60 savings if you get this pair in Kmart. Zara is quaking right now.
3. Activewear

You probably ate a little too much last night and you realised you didn’t pack any sportswear! But hey, it was a good dinner and now you want to burn it off – but the pricey Lululemon stuff makes your eyes water ever so slightly.
Don’t worry, whether you’re looking for dri-fit T-shirts, leggings or matching sets, all’s available in Kmart. Just check out this matching set of sports bra and leggings that add up to only A$28 (~S$26.30).
If you don’t need a matching set and you’ve got the time to look for a deal, you can find stuff on clearance such as the cute pair of leggings going for A$12 (~S$11.30).
Obviously, there are men’s activewear as well – I got my board shorts for the beach for only A$10 (~S$9.20), because what’s a trip to Perth without a visit to the beach, right?

Cosmetics and skincare is a little bit iffy because everyone’s got different skin types and requirements. Cosmetic accessories, however, are usually sought out and you can find those easily at Kmart.
Makeup brushes, tweezers, mirrors, sponges – you name it, they have it. One of the standouts are these Beauty Blender lookalikes for only A$5 (~S$4.60) and they come in pairs!
If you’re willing to try out their cosmetics, they’re very affordable, especially their lip gloss and lip balms! They usually go for A$3 (~S$2.70) but some of them can even be bought for as low as A$2 (~S$1.90). Kmart also sells makeup palettes, foundations, and the like!
5. Accessories

Accessories are the key to completing a look. Kmart’s got oodles of it and they don’t cost an arm and a leg! Complete your look with a pair of pearlescent plastic earrings for just A$2 (~S$1.80), a faux leather mini-backpack for A$15 (~S$13.70), and a black purse for A$7 (~S$6.40) – you get the idea.
Perhaps you’re a little more kooky – how about 3 pairs of Homer Simpson briefs for A$18 (~S$16.40) and a pair of fox socks with ears for just A$2 (~S$1.80)? And if you’re looking for something practical, a 27-litre backpack can be yours for A$35 (S$31.90).
6. Games

If you have the luggage space for it, definitely check out the games section at Kmart. One of the highlights at that section is this Monopoly: Cheaters’ Edition – where you throw out the usual rules in regular Monopoly and replace homes with hotels.
Here’s another interesting find from Kmart: A Game About Weird Things Humans Search For. To play this game, you guess and complete the second half of the search phrase with two answers, of which you must rank. Other players will rate your guesses and winners are determined by who has the highest score!
