This place isn’t called Hell Valley for no reason! Jigokudani is a geothermal valley located in Noboribetsu in Hokkaido and is a result of the eruptions of Mount Hiyoriyama. As a result, it now has steam vents, sulphurous streams, and bubbling pools that act as natural hot springs — giving it an otherworldly look, unlike anything you’d find in Japan.
