Authorities have announced that as of 25 February 2022, a new VTL with Hong Kong will commence. Here’s all you need to know about the entry requirements, as well as what to expect when travelling to Hong Kong.
Quarantine-free travel to Hong Kong might soon be in the cards for Singaporeans. Just yesterday, the authorities announced the launch of a unilateral vaccinated travel lane with Hongkong. This follows the 2021 HK-SG travel bubble saga that went on perpetual limbo. Thankfully, those days are behind us. Since then, travellers wishing to enter Singapore from Hong Kong had to apply for an air travel pass (ATP). Fast forward to February 22 — vaccinated travel pass (VTP) applications for travel from Hong Kong will open at 10 am. The first flights via Hong Kong VTL will take place from February 25.
