Here’s everything you need to know about the S$100 SingapoRediscovers vouchers that every Singaporean adult can redeem from 1 December 2020!
Great news, we can redeem our S$100 SingapoRediscovers vouchers from 1 December 2020 onwards! 🎉
In an effort to stimulate Singapore’s economy, the government is looking into tourism once again. The tourism industry has been hit the hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic, seeing a 39 percent drop in Q1 2020 compared to 2019, according to Singapore Tourism Board (STB). As such, all adult Singaporeans above 18 years old will be receiving these S$100 SingapoRediscovers vouchers to spend on hotels, attractions, and tours.

What Do I Need to Know About The S$100 SingapoRediscovers Vouchers?
If you’re curious to know what the details are for the S$100 SingapoRediscovers vouchers, here’s what you need to know:
Availability | 1 December 2020 onwards |
Age | Singapore citizens aged 18 and above in 2020 |
Value | S$100 in S$10 denominations |
Distribution | Via SingPass |
Validity | December 2020 to June 2021 |
Usage | For all STB-approved hotels, attractions and tours |
Platforms | • Trip.com • Klook • GlobalTix • Traveloka • Changi Recommends |
Children | Used for child/youth tickets for approved attractions and tours, with a S$10 subsidy for each child/youth ticket, for up to 6 tickets |
The last pointer may be a little bit confusing, so let me unpack it for you.
STB is saying that because children below aged 18 will not be receiving the SingapoRediscovers vouchers, adults can actually use their own vouchers for their children.
When adults use their vouchers for children aged below 18, they’ll receive S$10 subsidy. For example, a child ticket at Universal Studios Singapore is usually S$61, but with the subsidy, you only need to pay S$51. You can then use the SingapoRediscovers vouchers to pay off the S$51.
However, you’re only limited to six child or youth tickets.
Where Can I Spend My S$100 SingapoRediscovers Vouchers?
You can only redeem your S$100 SingapoRediscover vouchers through these five appointed platforms:
- Trip.com
- Klook
- GlobalTix
- Traveloka
- Changi Recommends
This means you’re only allowed to book your hotels, tours, and attractions through these five authorised platforms in order to redeem your SingapoRediscovers vouchers. Remember to set up your SingPass (if you haven’t) to start receiving your vouchers from 1 December 2020 onwards.
And of course, we’ve got some exclusive deals lined up when you pay with your YouTrip card, so keep your eyes peeled here or simply keep a lookout on our Telegram channel and free weekly newsletter!
You’ll also be very happy to know that most hotels in our staycation deals page are approved by STB, and if you’re already planning your 2021 long weekends, we’ll teach you how to stack annual leave to score 50 days off in 2021.
In fact, we’ve already went for staycations at three of the hotels on the STB-approved list! Check out our staycation reviews for York Hotel Singapore, Ramada by Wyndham Singapore, and The Fullerton Hotel Singapore.
The Fullerton Hotel Singapore has an extra surprise; we managed to get a tour of The Fullerton Presidential Suite, where you can also (maybe) use your SingapoRediscovers vouchers to offset the S$7,000 a night price tag. 🙈
If hotels are not your jam, STB has a microsite for tours and attractions for you to check out: Visit Singapore: SingapoRediscovers.
If We Took A Holiday…
… (and) took some time to celebrate, just one day out of life, it would be, it would be so nice!
Yes, that 1984 classic hit by Madonna remains as relevant as ever, just as Christmas season is synonymous to Mariah Carey. It’s no surprise that both the holiday and Christmas seasons are in sync, and it seems like the S$100 SingapoRediscover Vouchers are another gift to add to that!
And as best said by Mariah… IT’S TIME!
