1. NEON Countdown 2022

Known for its drool-worthy lineup of world-class artists, the festival is finally making its highly anticipated comeback after its hiatus. For 808’s 9th edition, you can expect nothing short of amazing. An intoxicating lineup of artists like Armin Van Buuren, DJ Snake, Hardwell, Zedd, and Illenium is set to take the stage alongside explosive pyrotechnics, psychedelic colours, and 808% good vibes.

4. Nanglen Music Festival 6

Here’s another Thai music festival for those of you looking for an authentically local experience. The Nanglen Music Festival is back for its 6th edition and features prominent Thai artists like Potato, Palmy, Clockwork Motionless, and more. Located about 2.5 hours out from Bangkok city and close to the charming Khao Yai National Park, Nanglen Music Festival will sure to feed the soul and the senses.

5. VERY Festival

The folks behind VERY Festival focus more on quality and not quantity with its relatively lean but impressive lineup of international and local Thai acts. Headlining this year’s VERY Fest includes some jaw-dropping names like the legendary Franz Ferdinand alongside LAUV, Keshi, boy pablo, ADOY, joan, Phum Viphurit, brb., and more!

6. Maho Rasop Festival

If you were a religious Laneway or Garden Beats attendee, then Maho Rasop will definitely be up your alley. Expect a super diverse lineup of renowned and fresh faces at this festival. Headlining Maho Rasop over the two days includes acts like Moonchild, Cornelius, Last Dinosaurs, Mild High Club, and Mono. 7. River Fest

For those looking for a unique music festival experience, River Fest is the way to go. The festival is held in Kanchanaburi, a beautiful town located just under three hours from Bangkok, and more specifically, at Chuen Rudee Land, a large campsite beside the famed Kwai River. While you can expect familiar names like Honne, Sam Kim, Eric Nam, and even our local star Gentle Bones, River Fest focuses a lot more on promoting Thai acts — so if you’re looking for something a little less mainstream and would like to get educated on the up-and-coming indie Thai acts, then this one’s for you.

8. Chiang Yai Fest 3

For those of you that want to experience Thailand beyond Bangkok, a trip up North will lead you to Chiang Yai Fest located in the lovely Chiang Mai. What we’re most excited about for this festival is that out of the 46 acts, you won’t find any international artists gracing the stage! So if you intend on soaking up the full Thai arts and culture experience, this event is not to be missed.
