Daiso Store’s Price Point Is Different In Every Country
In Japan where it originated, every item sells for 100 yen (~S$1.30) and above. In Malaysia, they cost RM5.90 (S$1.90), while most items in South Korea cost KRW1000 (~S$1.20).
Although it seems that it may be more worth it to travel up north or further for better prices on Daiso’s amazing and sometimes quirky items you never knew you needed, travel is unfortunately put on hold.
In the meantime, we can keep our hopes up and purchase from Daiso Singapore, while waiting for more international Daiso online stores to open – because who doesn’t love savings, right?
