Indulge your palate and savour world-class flavours without breaking the bank! Here’s our shortlist of affordable Michelin-awarded restaurants across Europe.
Delicious eats are a dime a dozen, especially if you’re travelling around culturally-rich Europe. But in the culinary world, there is a difference between good and great — and that is where the Michelin Guide comes in.
For those unfamiliar with how restaurants get recognised by the Guide, it’s actually pretty straightforward. They’re judged based on a fixed set of criteria which includes the quality of the product, mastery of flavour, and value for money, amongst many other things. Then, after anonymous inspections by esteemed mystery diners, restaurants will be awarded a bib gourmand or up to three stars.
With so much effort involved in creating a Michelin-worthy dining experience, most restaurants unsurprisingly come with a pretty hefty price tag. However, there are also plenty of hidden gems out there who believe that incredible gastronomic experiences should be enjoyed by the masses. So to give you a chance to taste high-quality cuisine for less, here’s our shortlist of affordable Michelin food around Europe you can enjoy under $100!
