Over the past two months, we’ve surprised YouTrip users in the Central Business District (CBD) with cold brew coffee and exclusive ‘Youtripping?’ tote bags – did you manage to get your hands on them?
#YouTripPerks April Giveaway: Cold Brew Coffee
We teamed up with Maxi Coffee Bar to bottle 450 cold brew coffee in two flavours: black sugar-free and oat milk sugar. The refreshing cold brew were a hit big among our users and were fully redeemed within an hour at Amoy Street, Raffles Place Park, Capital Tower and Oxley Tower.
Labelled as ‘Don’t Be Sian’, we wanted to give you a well-deserved caffeine fix and a little perk me up during lunch!
As in-app registration takes less than three minutes, many passerby downloaded and registered their accounts on the spot. Those who registered their YouTrip accounts successfully were rewarded with a cold brew coffee, and would also be rewarded with a SGD $5 credit in their YouTrip wallets after activation and first top-up.
Surprise, surprise! Our bright purple get-up also caught the attention of local artistes who were conducting their walkabout interviews for a star search show.
#YouTripPerks May Giveaway: Exclusive ‘Youtripping?’ Tote Bags
To keep up the momentum for May, we packed a whopping 300 exclusive ‘Youtripping?’ tote bags to surprise more users at Tanjong Pagar Centre, Asia Square, and even One-north.
These tote bags were filled with exclusive vouchers from our partners iShopChangi and Eatigo, a special YouTrip promo code, as well as drinks and snacks to curb office hunger pangs. We were out of tote bags within 30 minutes!
Many curious folks also approached us to ask about using YouTrip for the first time and how to utilise Wholesale Exchange Rates. We’re glad we managed to answer some of your questions, including popular ones like “How do I use Korean Won with YouTrip?” and “How do I use YouTrip for public transport?”
