What Can Be Withdrawn From Your YouTrip wallet?

Transferable balances will only apply to funds topped up into your account after 22 July 2024, 00:00hrs. These include:

  • Top-ups done via PayNow and Linked Bank Account (eGIRO)
  • Reversals from transactions using PayNow or Linked Bank Account top-ups
  • Dispute Credit or Dispute Resolution
  • Merchant refunds
  • Insurance Cashback
  • YouTrip Surprise Cashback

*Transfers are limited to the list above. All other balances, including card top-ups via debit and credit cards, cannot be withdrawn.

Things to note:

  • Bank withdrawals can only be facilitated in SGD. If you wish to withdraw in other currencies, you’ll have to exchange it back to SGD first
  • There is a limit of 10 bank withdrawals per calendar month. If you wish to make more than 10 bank withdrawals, you’ll have to request for a refund instead. Do note that a refund processing fee of S$10 will apply.

To get a copy of your transferable balance statement, email customer@you.co with the subject line ‘Transferable Balance Statement Request’. Find out more here.

  1. Update your YouTrip app & tap on ‘Transfer’ to select your transfer method
  2. Select ‘Withdraw to Own Account’
  3. Enter the amount you wish to withdraw
    • 👉 We’ll display the transferable balance that you can withdraw from your SGD wallet
  4. Select the transfer method you’d like to receive your funds
    • 👉 By PayNow to your registered mobile number or NRIC/FIN
  5. Slide to transfer once you’ve reviewed your transfer request

Q: Can I Withdraw My Funds into a Different/Someone Else’s Bank Account?

You can only withdraw funds back to the bank account associated with your PayNow-linked mobile number or NRIC registered with your YouTrip account. If your mobile number has changed, do update it in the app before making a bank withdrawal.

Here’s how to update your mobile number on your YouTrip account.

Alternatively, you can choose to transfer money to another YouTrooper via YouTrip Send. But this amount will not be withdrawable.

Can I Still Transfer Money Back to my Bank Account Without An Existing PayNow Account?

You’ll have to register for PayNow to facilitate bank withdrawals. Register with your preferred bank and link your PayNow mobile number and/or NRIC/FIN number. Find out more here.
