#7: 7 Ways to Donate Your SingapoRediscovers Vouchers
First thing’s first — which platforms are offering these services?
Currently, three booking platforms are part of this initiative: Klook Cares, Trip.com, and GlobalTix. You can choose to give a small portion or redeem multiple tickets at once — the choice is entirely yours. Just remember that if the donation exceeds your SRV balance, you’ll have to top up the rest!
1. It’s Raining Raincoats x Singapore Flyer

This organisation is probably the first of the non-profits to kickstart this entire initiative! In collaboration with Singapore Flyer, they’ll be giving our migrant workers the chance to admire the beautiful Singapore skyline — a fitting gesture, since they were the hands who built our concrete jungle; the place we call home.
To purchase your tickets, head down to Klook’s webpage to get started. You’ll be prompted to log via your SingPass to redeem the SRV, so just remember to follow the instructions very carefully! Protip: we recommend following their guide for fewer hiccups!

2. Collaborate for Good x Science Centre Singapore
Remember being a primary school kid and thinking that the Science Centre was the coolest place on Earth? Well, here’s your chance to let a young one experience that moment too. Collaborate for Good is an initiative by the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) that encourages collaboration between organisations and individuals for communities in need.

When you donate your SRV, the vouchers will pay for an adult and child ticket, along with an educational science kit to complement the excursion.

3. CARE Singapore x River Safari
Despite the travel ban, you can still give the gift of adventure in the form of a River Safari tour, where guests can get a taste of famed rivers like the Mississippi and Yangtze, right here in Singapore. In collaboration with CARE Singapore, a non-profit that works with at-risk youths, your donation will allow these young kids to experience a different world of adventure, and a breather from the mundane.

Plus, they’ll even get a chance to get up close with the famed red pandas 😭 Who could say no to that?!

4. Filos Community Services x Universal Studios Singapore (USS)
Anyone who has had the chance to visit USS would know that it’s probably the best place to feel like you’re anywhere but here! With seven different themed zones, it’s most certainly the best place for family — which form part of the group of beneficiaries that Filos Community Services cater to. To purchase your tickets on behalf of the beneficiaries, simply visit Trip.com to get started.

And because USS is the most iconic theme park here in our Lion City, you also have the option of donating your tickets to Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities.

5. MINDS x EU Holidays Attraction Bundle
Instead of just settling for one location, the good folks behind EU Holidays decided to bundle all the local must-visits into one comprehensive package! In collaboration with MINDS, an organisation that cares for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (PWIDs), EU Holidays will plan a trip to places like Gardens by the Bay and Madame Tussauds for these beneficiaries and their caregivers.

Kids have the craziest imagination, which is why a trip to the aquarium or the zoo is perfect for them to go wild and explore different worlds! Singapore Children’s Society will be taking on donations for tickets to either of these iconic locations via GlobalTix. Remember — you’re not just limited to one ticket per organisation! You can choose to donate as many as you wish.

A little kindness makes the world go round!
If there’s one thing the pandemic has shown, it’s just how united we Singaporeans can be. Almost every week you’d be able to find small nuggets of uplifting news from across our sunny island, and initiatives like these play a huge role too! On that note, you can check out our short little write-up on travel corridors and bubbles just to get you in a positive state of mind.
That being said, we want you to know that whether you choose to donate the vouchers or spend them on yourself, you’re still a lovely human being! After all, the pandemic has been hard on all of us, so indulging in a little self-care is kindness in itself. Here’s to spreading good vibes all around 😎
