🔐 Enhanced Security Measures Implemented:
1. Dedicated Fraud Reporting Email
Your security is our highest priority — which is why we’ve established a dedicated Fraud Reporting Email. We understand that quick responses are absolutely crucial if you suspect suspicious activity on your YouTrip account.
❗If you suspect that you’ve been a victim of fraud or scam, you can email our dedicated fraud reporting email with details at fraud-reporting@you.co. Our 24/7 Customer Service team will be able to assist you from here.
For other non-fraud and scam enquiries, please continue to contact us at customer@you.co
2. Kill Switch
Designed to protect user accounts that have been in an alleged scam or fraud, the Kill Switch is a strong defence mechanism that allows you to immediately suspend your YouTrip account. If you suspect that your phone or YouTrip account has been compromised, you can activate the Kill Switch by calling our Customer Service team at +65 6904 9334.
Once the Kill Switch is activated:
✔️ Your account will be suspended. All parties, including you, will be completely cut off from all YouTrip app access
✔️ Both your physical and virtual cards will be suspended
✔️ New online and offline transactions, including Apple Pay or Google Pay transactions, will not be allowed
✔️ All other transactions such as top-ups and receiving money via YouTrip Send will also be declined
Additional information on the Kill Switch:
❗ The Kill Switch prevents new unauthorised transactions but will not be able to reverse any transactions which have already been authorised
❗ The Kill Switch is reversible. If you wish to deactivate the Kill Switch after resolving any account compromise, you can call the same hotline at +65 6904 9334
❗ Any refund or reversal will still be processed. However, you will not have access to the funds until your account is reinstated.

3. 12-Hour Cooling-Off Period When Your Account Is Logged In On A New Device
When your YouTrip account is logged into on any new device, there will now be a 12-hour cooling-off period in place before anyone is able to update your personal information. This means:
⚠️You’ll be unable to update personal information such as mobile number and email address
Whenever your YouTrip account is logged in on a new device, you will be notified via email. This 12-hour cooling period will give you time to safeguard your account in the event that you do not recognise the new login.
4. Additional Authentication Now Required Before A Change In Contact Details
If you wish to update your contact details, there will now be additional authentication required to safeguard your YouTrip account. Simply follow the steps below to successfully update your details:
✅ Changes in mobile number
Provide verification codes (OTP) sent to your new mobile number AND existing email address
✅ Changes in email address
Provide verification codes (OTP) sent to your new email address AND existing mobile number
5. Revised Transaction Limits For YouTrip Send
As an added layer of protection, we’ve also implemented a S$1,000 transaction limit for Peer-to-Peer (P2P) transfers. This means the maximum amount you can transfer via each YouTrip Send transaction is S$1,000.
By setting this cap, we’re minimising the risk of potential losses if there are suspected fraudulent YouTrip Send transfers.
What steps should I take if I suspect that I’m a victim of fraud or scam?
1️⃣ Lock your physical/virtual card via your YouTrip app
2️⃣ Change your App PIN & password of your email account if someone has access to that email account
3️⃣ Email & report your case to fraud-reporting@you.co
4️⃣ If you wish to stop any new transactions from happening and immediately suspend your YouTrip account, you can activate the Kill Switch by calling +65 6904 9334
5️⃣ Make a local police report here if your card is lost, stolen, or being used fraudulently
For other non-fraud and scam enquiries, please continue to contact us at customer@you.co
