Keep your YouTrip account secure with biometric login.
Starting early January 2026, we’ll be rolling out an additional layer of security to better protect your YouTrip account from fraud and unauthorised access.
This means all existing and new users will be required to complete a one-time biometric enrolment using facial recognition. This allows us to verify your identity when you access your account.
What This Means for You:
1. One-time facial scan (~2 minutes)
When prompted, you’ll complete a quick, one-time facial scan. This step is required to continue using YouTrip’s services.
2. Enhanced biometric security checks
Our fraud monitoring system works in real time to safeguard your account. You may be prompted for biometric login if any unusual activity is detected.
Why We’re Doing This
Biometric login helps to safeguard your account by:
- Providing a reliable way to verify your identity – even if login details like passwords or OTPs are compromised.
- Adding an extra verification step when detecting unusual activity.
Your Privacy Matters
Your biometric data is encrypted and securely stored. It is only used for account authentication and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Our Privacy Policy has been updated to include biometric data. You’ll be asked to provide your consent to the revised policy within the YouTrip app.
Biometric authentication is required to continue using your YouTrip account. If you choose not to complete this step, access to your account will be unavailable. Our Customer Service team is available to assist if you have any questions.
