But First, More About Lo Hei Tradition

The 11-ingredient Yu Sheng is said to signify an “increase of abundance”. The word yu (鱼) sounds like yu (余), which means abundance and surpluses, while the word sheng (生) sounds like sheng (升), which means to rise. And therefore, the higher you toss the ingredients, the greater your blessings and fortunes for the year!

On the other hand, the Fortune set allows for more flexibility with options for two, four, six, eight, and 10 pax.
