- What is YouTrip Surprise, and how do I take part?
YouTrip Surprise, as its name suggests, is our way to provide surprise rewards to you – our YouTroopers! Each month, selected users will be invited via email, push notifications and/or in-app banner, which will drive you to your YouTrip Perks page on web or the Perks button on your YouTrip app.
To successfully register for YouTrip Surprise, you must click on the “Redeem Now” button on the personalized banner that you will see on your YouTrip Perks page. Failure to click on the “Redeem Now” button on the personalized banner will mean that you are not part of YouTrip Surprise and you should not expect any cashback post-campaign.
The Cashback Reward may have been fully redeemed as the Cashback Reward is subjected to limited redemptions, on a first-come first-served basis.
- How do I calculate the Cashback Reward amount, and how much will I receive?
The total Cashback Reward is capped at a percentage of the minimum spend offered to you on your personalized banner.
For e.g. if your personalized offer is “Get 5% Cashback when you spend min S$50.”, the Cashback Reward you will get is 5% of S$50, which is equivalent to S$2.50. - When will I receive my Cashback Reward? Why is it not instantaneous?
The Cashback Reward earned for the current month will be credited into your YouTrip wallet within 30 days after the end of the current cycle of YouTrip Surprise.
- Do I still earn Cashback Reward if I do not meet the minimum spend?
If you do not meet the minimum spend stated on your personalized banner, you will not be entitled to the Cashback Reward.
- If I meet the minimum spend, is my Cashback Reward guaranteed?
The Cashback Reward is subjected to limited redemptions, on a first-come first-served basis.
Successful participation of YouTrip Surprise does not guarantee you a Cashback Reward. I.e. if you are the first few participant(s) within our set Reward Cap to hit the minimum spend that you see on your personalized banner, you will receive a Cashback Reward. Once the Reward Cap is fully redeemed, you will not receive a Cashback Reward even if you hit the minimum spend. Do reversals/ refunds affect my eligible spend for the current cycle of YouTrip Surprise?
Yes, any reversals/ refunds of any eligible transaction made during the current cycle of YouTrip Surprise will affect your total eligible spend for the Cashback Reward.
