Terms and Conditions

The YouTrip Perks: Love Shopping, Deals & Surprises V-Day Cashback Promotion (“Promotion“) is run by You Technologies Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd (“YouTrip”) and is subject to these terms and conditions (“T&Cs“).

  1. Promotion Period
    1. The Promotion will commence from 10 February 2023 and will end on 24 February 2023. (“Promotion Period”).
    2. The awarding of the Cashback Rewards (as defined below) will be by 24 April 2023.
  2. Eligibility
    1. To qualify for eligibility, the participant must be a current YouTrip card holder (“Participant“).
    2. In addition, a Participant must fulfil the following conditions to be an “Eligible Awardee“:
      1. For S$25 Cashback Reward (as defined below): The Participant must register for the Promotion via the registration form. The Participant must also be one of the first 160 users to spend a minimum of S$250 online via YouTrip Perks or Perks (from YouTrip App) with their YouTrip card during the Promotion Period.
      2. For S$60 Cashback Reward (as defined below): The Participant must register for the Promotion via the registration form. The Participant must also be one of the first 80 users to spend a minimum of S$600 online via YouTrip Perks or Perks (from YouTrip App) with their YouTrip card during the Promotion Period.
      3. The Participant must make their purchase(s) from any of these 10 featured YouTrip Perks Merchants: Agoda, Booking.com, Qatar, Expedia, Zalora, Klook, Trip.com, Shopee, Lazada and Charles & Keith to qualify for the Promotion.
      4. The Participant must follow through with their purchase process from YouTrip Perks to the respective Merchant site and complete the checkout successfully while being actively tracked.
        1. The Participant must follow through with their purchases once they click on “Redeem Deal” on YouTrip Perks.
        2. If the Participant jumps out of the check-out process (even if to check on a message or just happen to close their browser), the Participant will need to click through to YouTrip Perks again to re-purchase to ensure that they are eligible to participate in this Promotion and to get their cashback successfully.
      5. Participation will be voided if the Participant exits the Merchant page after accessing it from YouTrip Perks or Perks (from the YouTrip app) or clicks on any external link or widget from the Merchant’s site.
      6. Purchase must be completed within the same window on the same day for successful participation.
      7. Participants participating in YouTrip’s Instagram Contest for 100% cashback must fulfil either min spend criteria of S$250 and S$600 to qualify.
    3. Employees of YouTrip and its affiliates are not eligible for the redemption of the Cashback Rewards (as defined below).
    4. For the avoidance of doubt, YouTrip reserves the right to at its sole discretion disqualify any person from participating in this Promotion.
  3. Cashback Reward
    1. This Promotion consists of the following “Cashback Rewards“:
      1. Eligible Awardees (based on the criteria above) will receive a one-time Cashback Reward of either S$25 or S$60. Each Eligible Awardee can receive a maximum of one Cashback Reward, as determined by the above criteria. 
      2. The Cashback Reward will be automatically credited to Eligible Awardees’ YouTrip wallet by 24 April 2023.
      3. One eligible Instagram contest participant will get full reimbursement of their successful purchase completed via YouTrip Perks of up to S$1,000, excluding the 10% promotional cashback in 3.1.1. The Eligible Awardee will be announced on YouTrip’s Instagram page by 24 April 2023.
      4. The Cashback Reward for YouTrip’s Instagram contest will be automatically credited to Eligible Awardees’ YouTrip wallet by 24 April 2023.
  4. No Fraud or Violation of Terms
    1. YouTrip reserves the right to reject or clawback the Cashback Reward granted or to be granted to an Eligible Awardee in the case of any fraudulent, dishonest and inappropriate conduct, as determined in the sole discretion of YouTrip. Such activities include but are not limited to the following: the provision of any false details; the provision of any third party’s information without consent; and any other fraudulent or malicious actions.
    2. In light of fraud cases, participants should only click on the registration link(s) from YouTrip’s App push notification or directly from YouTrip’s website.
    3. YouTrip will never ask you to provide one-time passwords or your YouTrip card number in full. If we do need to verify your identity, we will typically ask for your Y-number instead. This is not your card number and cannot be used for payments or top-ups.
  5. No Refunds and Rights to Clawback
    1. Cashback Rewards granted under this Promotion are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances (including but not limited to any closure, suspension, loss or expiry of an Eligible Awardee’s YouTrip account). For the avoidance of doubt, an Eligible Awardee shall not be entitled to any compensation, refund or alternative prize due to a failure to claim or use the Cashback Rewards.
    2. YouTrip reserves the right to deduct the relevant Cashback Reward from the account balance of an Eligible Awardee which were granted due to any fraudulent, dishonest and inappropriate conduct by an Eligible Awardee as described in clause 5 above.
  6. Change of Terms and Termination
    1. YouTrip may, at its sole discretion, revise any of these T&Cs or terminate this Promotion at any time without prior notification.
  7. Acceptance of Terms
    1. By participating in this Promotion, the Participant shall be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these T&Cs. The Participant shall also be deemed to have:
      1. Agreed to receive communications by YouTrip via email, phone, SMS, app notifications in accordance with our Privacy Policy as disclosed in www.you.co.
      2. Agreed and accepted the General Terms and Conditions of YouTrip as disclosed in www.you.co.
  8. Governing Law
    1. These T&Cs shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
