FAQ
YouTrip Family cards are free. Add up to 10 cards for children aged 7–18 at no extra charge, with one physical card issued per child.
In your YouTrip app, switch to your Child’s account and tap ‘Top up’.
Top up using:
- Your YouTrip SGD balance
- PayNow QR
- Linked debit/credit card
Note: Only the linked parent can top up a YouTrip Family Child account
Yes. You can enable or disable specific transaction types, set transaction or low balance alerts, and lock or unlock the card at anytime via the YouTrip app.
The YouTrip app is optional for your child, they can still use their card without it.
With the app, your child can:
- Check wallet balance
- Track spending & view transactions
- Exchange currencies
- Lock their card if misplaced
- Reset ATM & Card PIN
- Personalise their profile (passcode, avatar)
Yes. If they use the YouTrip app, your child can view their own spending & transaction history directly in the app.
