YouTrip Surprise Promotion January 2024

Terms and Conditions

The YouTrip Surprise Promotion (“Promotion“) is run by You Technologies Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd (“YouTrip”) and is subject to these terms and conditions (“T&Cs“).

  1. Promotion Period
    1. The Promotion will be valid from 17 January to 30 January 2024 (“Promotion Period”).
    2. The award of the Cashback Reward (as defined below) will be by 1 March 2024.
  2. Eligibility
    1. To qualify for eligibility, the YouTrip cardholder must have been invited by YouTrip to take part in the Promotion (“Participant“) via email, push notification, in-app banner and/or via their personalised YouTrip Perks page.
    2. In addition, the Participant must fulfil the following condition to be an “Eligible Awardee“:
      1. For Cashback Reward (as defined below): The Participant must make at least one transaction with YouTrip during the Promotion Period, after clicking on the redemption button displayed on their personalised YouTrip Perks page. The minimum total amount to be spent before a Participant is eligible for a Cashback Reward will be displayed on the Promotion banner.
      1. Employees of YouTrip and its affiliates are not eligible for the redemption of the Cashback Rewards (as defined below).
    3. For the avoidance of doubt, YouTrip reserves the right to at its sole discretion disqualify any person from participating in this Promotion.
  3. Cashback Reward
    1. This Promotion consists of the following “Cashback Reward“:
      1. Each Eligible Awardee will receive a Cashback Reward as stated in their individual offer invitation. 
      2. Each Eligible Awardee will only be subjected to one Cashback Reward for either the physical or virtual card. 
      3. The Cashback Reward is subjected to limited redemptions, on a first-come first-served basis. The Reward quota is listed on the Promotion banner on the Participant’s personalized YouTrip Perks page.
        1. Successful participation of Promotion does not guarantee the Participant a Cashback Reward.
        2. If you are the first few Participant(s) within our set Reward quota to hit the minimum spend of your Promotion, you will receive a Cashback Reward.
        3. Once the Reward quota is fully redeemed, the Eligible Awardee will not receive a Cashback Reward even if the minimum spend is hit.
      4. The Cashback Reward will be automatically credited to an Eligible Awardee’s YouTrip wallet by 1 March 2024.
  4. No Fraud or Violation of Terms
    1. YouTrip reserves the right to reject or clawback the Cashback Reward granted or to be granted to an Eligible Awardee in the case of any fraudulent, dishonest and inappropriate conduct, as determined in the sole discretion of YouTrip. Such activities include but are not limited to the following: the provision of any false details; the provision of any third party’s information without consent; and any other fraudulent or malicious actions.
    2. In light of fraud cases, participants should only click on the registration link(s) from YouTrip’s App push notification or directly from YouTrip’s website.
    3. YouTrip will never ask you to provide one-time passwords or your YouTrip card number in full. If we do need to verify your identity, we will typically ask for your Y-number instead. This is not your card number and cannot be used for payments or top-ups.
  5. No Refunds and Rights to Clawback
    1. Cashback Reward granted under this Promotion is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances (including but not limited to any closure, suspension, loss or expiry of an Eligible Awardee’s YouTrip account). For the avoidance of doubt, an Eligible Awardee shall not be entitled to any compensation, refund or alternative prize due to a failure to claim or use the Cashback Reward.
    2. YouTrip reserves the right to deduct the relevant Cashback Reward from the account balance of an Eligible Awardee which were granted due to any fraudulent, dishonest and inappropriate conduct by an Eligible Awardee as described in clause 5 above.
  6. Change of Terms and Termination
    1. YouTrip may, at its sole discretion, revise any of these T&Cs or terminate this Promotion at any time without prior notification.
  7. Acceptance of Terms
    1. By participating in this Promotion, the Participant shall be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these T&Cs. The Participant shall also be deemed to have:
      1. Agreed to receive communications by YouTrip via email, phone, SMS, app notifications in accordance with our Privacy Policy as disclosed in www.you.co.
      2. Agreed and accepted the General Terms and Conditions of YouTrip as disclosed in www.you.co.
  8. Governing Law
    1. These T&Cs shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
