PayNow QR Top-Ups 1% Instant Cashback Promotion

Terms and Conditions

The PayNow QR Top-Ups 1% Instant Cashback Promotion (“Promotion“) is run by You Technologies Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd (“YouTrip”) and is subject to these terms and conditions (“T&Cs“).

  1. Promotion Period
    1. The Promotion will commence from 25 January 2021 and will end when 5,000 eligible top-ups through PayNow QR (as defined below) are made (“Promotion Period”).
    2. The award of the Cashback Reward (as defined below) be from 25 January 2021 till the end of the Promotion.
  2. Eligibility
    1. To qualify for eligibility, the YouTrip cardholder (“Participant“) must have successfully made a top-up to their YouTrip wallet through PayNow QR within the Promotion Period.
    2. In addition, a Participant must fulfil the following conditions to be an “Eligible Awardee“:
      1. For 1% instant cashback: 1% instant cashback will only be applied on the Participant’s first eligible top-up made within the Promotion Period.The top-up made by the Participant must be among the first 5,000 eligible top-ups made through PayNow QR upon the start of the Promotion. A minimum top-up of S$1 is required. (“Eligible Top-Up“). The Participant must be using the version 3.17.0 and beyond of the YouTrip app to utilise the PayNow QR top-up function.
    3. Employees of YouTrip and its affiliates are not eligible for the redemption of the Cashback Rewards (as defined below).
    4. For the avoidance of doubt, YouTrip reserves the right to at its sole discretion disqualify any person from participating in this Promotion.
  3. Cashback Reward
    1. This Promotion consists of the following “Cashback Reward“:
      1. 1% cashback on the Participant’s first eligible top-up made through PayNow QR made within the Promotion Period. This Cashback Rewards will be awarded to the first 5,000 Eligible Awardees and are capped at S$5 per Eligible Awardee. For the avoidance of doubt, each user is entitled to a one-time cashback credit only.
      2.  The Cashback Reward will be automatically credited to an Eligible Awardee’s YouTrip wallet upon an Eligible Top-Up.
  4. No Fraud or Violation of Terms
    1. YouTrip reserves the right to reject or clawback the Cashback Rewards granted or to be granted to an Eligible Awardee in the case of any fraudulent, dishonest and inappropriate conduct, as determined in the sole discretion of YouTrip. Such activities include but are not limited to the following: the provision of any false details; the provision of any third party’s information without consent; and any other fraudulent or malicious actions.
  5. No Refunds and Rights to Clawback
    1. Cashback Rewards granted under this Promotion are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances (including but not limited to any closure, suspension, loss or expiry of an Eligible Awardee’s YouTrip account). For the avoidance of doubt, an Eligible Awardee shall not be entitled to any compensation, refund or alternative prize due to a failure to claim or use the Cashback Rewards.
    2. YouTrip reserves the right to deduct the relevant Cashback Rewards from the account balance of an Eligible Awardee which were granted due to any fraudulent, dishonest and inappropriate conduct by an Eligible Awardee as described in clause 5 above.
  6. Change of Terms and Termination
    1. YouTrip may, at its sole discretion, revise any of these T&Cs or terminate this Promotion at any time without prior notification.
  7. Acceptance of Terms
    1. By participating in this Promotion, the Participant shall be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these T&Cs. The Participant shall also be deemed to have:
      1. Agreed to receive communications by YouTrip via email, phone, SMS, app notifications in accordance with our Privacy Policy as disclosed in www.you.co.
      2. Agreed and accepted the General Terms and Conditions of YouTrip as disclosed in www.you.co.
  8. Governing Law
    1. These T&Cs shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
