    As of August 2026, there are no direct flights from Singapore to Bandung. The quickest option is to fly to Jakarta, then take the Whoosh high-speed train, which gets you to Bandung in under an hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The lack of direct flights is due to the closure of Bandung’s Husein Sastranegara Airport (BDO) to commercial jet flights in October 2023. Its international routes to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur were moved to Kertajati Airport in Majalengka, which is around a two- to three-hour drive from Bandung \u2014 not exactly the most convenient option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    There’s good news, though: Indonesia’s transport ministry has approved Husein Sastranegara Airport to resume scheduled commercial flights from 17 September 2026. So far, the announced routes are domestic, meaning a direct Singapore\u2013Bandung route has yet to be confirmed.
