Here at Honest Mistake, you can\u2019t miss out on trying their signature JuJube cocktail<\/em> \u2014 a combination of sous-vide-dried Jujube, Chinese wolfberry, mushroom, and bourbon. As well as their smooth and creamy Chinatown cocktail<\/em> which combines vodka, chestnut syrup, egg white, and aromatic lemon Chartreuse. But once you finally make your way through, you\u2019ll discover a dimly lit bar serving cocktails with a twist. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Titled \u201cPast, Present, and Future\u201d, this watering hole elevates its menu of classic cocktails and brings it to a whole new level. The typical Bloody Mary<\/em> is transformed into a refreshing Harakiri<\/em>, infusing fresh tomato juice with vodka, umeshu, green tea, and fresh lemon juice. It\u2019s then transformed once again into a Bloodless Maria<\/em> which uses dried tomato, tequila, mezcal, and mirin, showcasing their rendition of the past, present, and future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This cheeky hole-in-the-wall spot doesn\u2019t just wear pink on Wednesdays, it\u2019s swimming <\/em>in it all year long! With its vintage pink chairs made using acrylic boards and a bar countertop made from plastic trash such as shampoo bottles and bottle caps, this spot can only be described in one word and that\u2019s \u2014 \u2018funky\u2019. But the true highlight of Shuushuu.hiddenplace undoubtedly lies in its umeshu selection. In fact, it\u2019s the only thing they serve so you just know it\u2019s got to be good. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Try their 101<\/em> for a sweet and sour umeshu from the Wakayama prefecture \u2014 a drink that\u2019s ideal for beginners. Prefer something a little boozier? Go for their 420<\/em> \u2014 an intense aromatic umeshu from Nakano that combines premium plum with Japanese green tea! And if you really <\/em>want to end the night off floating on a cloud, give their 1543<\/em> a taste. It\u2019s the strongest drink in the bar with 18% alcohol<\/strong> and is named after the Thai Expressway Authority\u2019s hotline for a reason.  \ud83d\udc40<\/p>\n\n\n\n
