Known to be one of the most picturesque theme parks in Tokyo, Yomiuriland<\/a> is the biggest amusement park that offers cherry blossoms when in season. While most theme parks target kids and teens, Yomiuriland aims to ensure that the older generations get a great experience as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main event happens at nightfall when little bulbs of light begin to illuminate every inch of the park. With the largest illumination in the region of Kanto, Jewellumination is bound to knock your socks off as you experience different aspects of the amusement park day and night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Formerly known as Korakuen, sitting at the centre of this Tokyo Dome City<\/a> amusement park is the baseball park Tokyo Dome. With an ultra-modern section, LaQua, the park also comprises a shopping centre, restaurants, the world\u2019s first spokeless Ferris wheel, and a hot mineral bath theme park. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a smaller theme park, this place does not have any admission fees but instead charges entry for every attraction. Take a ride on Thunder Dolphin \u2014 a powerful roller coaster that goes through the centre of the Ferris wheel. Or enjoy a free fountain show at Water Symphony! As the smaller version of the Legoland amusement park, the Legoland Discovery Center Tokyo<\/a> is great for families with younger children who can\u2019t afford to burn a whole day at a theme park but still want to experience the fun and joy of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you enter, take a lift up to the Lego Factory to begin your journey! Kids can learn how Lego bricks are made and test out their engineering skills at several stations. Although the area might seem small, there are a few rides located within the premises that are suitable for toddlers such as the Kindom Quest Laser Ride and Chariots. Finally, end your day off with a shopping spree for yourselves and your young ones at the Lego store where there are special offers every month on Lego sets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While this theme park will be opening in the first half of 2023, Potterheads can rejoice as the new magical Harry Potter Studio Tour<\/a> will whisk you off to your wildest Hogwarts dreams. Resembling the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London, this facility will not have any rides or attractions like at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead, the area will cover breathtaking production sets, actual film props, costumes, and more! For the avid Harry Potter fanatic, this is the ultimate dream as visitors will be allowed to go on a unique behind-the-scenes tour where they can explore iconic locations from the films such as Diagon Alley, Gringotts Wizarding Bank, Dumbledore\u2019s Office, and the Hogwarts\u2019 Great Hall! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although not a lot of details have been released about this new theme park yet, this is definitely one to add to your list when it opens this year!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
