Authorities have announced that as of 25 February 2022, a new VTL with Hong Kong will commence. Here\u2019s all you need to know about the entry requirements, as well as what to expect when travelling to Hong Kong.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Quarantine-free travel to Hong Kong might soon be in the cards for Singaporeans. Just yesterday, the authorities announced the launch of a unilateral vaccinated travel lane with Hongkong. This follows the 2021 HK-SG travel bubble<\/a> saga that went on perpetual limbo. Thankfully, those days are behind us. Since then, travellers wishing to enter Singapore from Hong Kong had to apply for an air travel pass (ATP). Fast forward to February 22 \u2014 vaccinated travel pass (VTP) applications for travel from Hong Kong will open at 10 am. The first flights via Hong Kong VTL will take place from February 25.

Currently, all travellers from Hong Kong can enter Singapore without serving quarantine \u2014 moving forward, only Hong Kong travellers vaccinated against COVID-19 will be able to enjoy this benefit. Unfortunately, the VTL will be operating one way for now but we\u2019re hanging tight to see how the arrangements develop in the coming months. Upon Arrival<\/strong><\/td>\u2705  <\/strong>To have on hand:
\ud83d\udc49\ud83c\udffb  Proof of vaccination
\ud83d\udc49\ud83c\udffb   Proof of negative PCR test (taken within 48 hours)
\ud83d\udc49\ud83c\udffb  Confirmation of room reservation in a Designated Quarantine Hotel<\/a> (DQH) (14 nights)
\ud83d\udc49\ud83c\udffb  Completed online health declaration form<\/a> \u2014 to show generated QR code

\u2705  You will be required to complete and sign a declaration regarding travel history (past 14 days)

\u2705  Completed online health declaration form<\/a>, have QR code on hand

During Your Stay<\/strong><\/td>\u2705  Undergo compulsory quarantine for 14 days in a designated quarantine hotel

\u2705  Undergo 6 PCR tests during compulsory quarantine

\u2705  Self-monitoring<\/a> in the subsequent 7 days

\u2705  Compulsory testing on the 16th day of arrival at:

\ud83d\udc49\ud83c\udffb  Recognised local medical testing institution<\/a>

\u2705  Compulsory testing on the 19th day of arrival

If you\u2019re planning to enter Singapore from 22 February, here are the new measures for VTL travellers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon Arrival<\/strong><\/td>\u2705  <\/strong>To have on hand:
\ud83d\udc49\ud83c\udffb  Proof of vaccination
\ud83d\udc49\ud83c\udffb  Proof of negative ART or PCR test (taken within 72 hours)

\u2705  You will be required to complete and sign a declaration regarding travel history (past 7 days)

\u2705  Completed on-arrival form<\/a>

Within 24 Hours<\/strong><\/td>\u2705  Take supervised self-administered Antigen Rapid Test (ART) at a Quick Test Centre (QTC) or Combined Test Centre (CTC)
