1. Enrolment Requirements<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Step Zero: Enrollment Requirements To Become A CFA Candidate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will have to register for the Level I exam, have an international passport, be ready to take exams in English, have completed the Professional Conduct Statement form, live in a participating country<\/a>, as well as meet one<\/strong> of the following qualifications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(1) have a bachelor’s degree (2) be an undergraduate student (3) or have a combination of 4,000 hours of work experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step One: Pass The Exams<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CFA Program consists of three levels of the curriculum, each with its own exam. You must pass all three levels in order to become a CFA charterholder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step Two: Get Work Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can choose to get work experience before, during, or after participation in CFA Program \u2014 the work must be directly involved with the investment decision-making process, or producing a work product that informs or adds value to that process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step Three: Provide References<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Submit two to three professional references \u2014 these references will have to comment on your work experience and professional character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step Four: Get Approved<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You are to first apply to become a regular member<\/a> of the CFA Institute \u2014 once your application is approved, you will have earned the CFA charter!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
