For us, that simply means being able to travel to Germany without the sinking feeling of having to serve quarantine upon our return.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But where should we go? The main cities would be fine \u2014 but after being cramped up in our lovely island home for about two years, we figured it might be time to step out into the wild. Here, you\u2019ll also find the majestic sandstone cliffs of \u201cDahner Felsenland\u201d, medieval castle ruins, as well as a thriving wildlife scene. In addition to all that, visitors can also enjoy the fruits of this international partnership, and support it, by participating in the regular Franco-German farmers\u2019 markets that take place regularly in multiple places around the area.
