Children were playing with fire crackers and sliding around in sleds. The park was covered in snow when we visited, so we got a chance to build snowmen, have a snowball fight, and make snow angels! Saint Sofia Cathedral<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sitting majestically in the centre of town, Saint Sofia Cathedral (\u7d22\u83f2\u4e9a\u6559\u5802) is the largest Eastern Orthodox church in the Far East. It&#8217;s worth waiting for the view, as you get to capture the beautiful details of the church in daylight and also see it lit under the night sky.<\/p>\n<p><b>Protip: Visit about 30 mins before sunset, so that you can snap photos of the church in both daylight and night.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<h3><strong><br \/>\n6. Qiu Lin Resort<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Compared to the famous Yabuli Ski Resort, Qiu Lin Ski Resort (\u79cb\u6797\u6ed1\u96ea\u573a) is smaller in scale, hence safer and more enjoyable for beginners. For advanced skiers who are up for a challenge, Yabuli Ski Resort may be more suitable for you.<\/p>\n<p><b>Protip: Grab lunch from the restaurant opposite of the ski house. The food is amazing and the owners are really friendly and warm!<\/b><\/p>\n<h2><b><br \/>\nWhat to Eat in Harbin: Delicious Food<\/b><\/h2>\n<h3><strong><br \/>\n1. KFC<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I know what you&#8217;re thinking. KFC in China?! Yes, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">really<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. We went to KFC at least three times during our trip just to get their egg tarts. It&#8217;s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">that<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> good!<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong><br \/>\n2. Braised Chicken<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Braised Chicken (\u9ec4\u7116\u9e21) is absolutely soul-warming. It was so delicious that we went back for seconds! This dish can be easily found in Harbin, but the one we loved is located across the street from the back of our hotel along Shangzhi street.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong><br \/>\n3. Xi Jia De Dumplings<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Xi Jia De (\u559c\u5bb6\u5fb7) is a chain restaurant that you&#8217;ll see everywhere in Harbin. Their braised pork was equally good \u2013 the tender meat fell off the bones effortlessly and the sauce packed a flavourful punch.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong><br \/>\n4. Han Sheng Korean BBQ Buffet (\u97e9\u76db\u70ad\u706b\u81ea\u52a9\u70e4\u8089)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Located on the third floor of No. 48 Central Street, this hidden gem restaurant is an absolute must go. The selection of meats include lamb (which was really good!), beef, pork and chicken.
