During the circuit breaker period, we saw how popular gaming was as a form of entertainment. I\u2019m sure everyone remembered how popular Nintendo Switch was \u2013 it was sold out globally and prices were jacked up by scalpers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fortunately, I was able to get my hands on the help elusive Nintendo Switch<\/span><\/a> and Animal Crossing<\/span><\/a> from overseas sites (and for cheaper too \ud83d\ude1c). I\u2019m not sure about you, but the Nintendo Switch was a lifesaver for my family \u2013 we\u2019ve spent countless hours trying to get past levels on Overcooked 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even now, many Singaporeans are opting to pass time with video and online games at home, while social distancing measures are still in place. It’s also no surprise that YouTroopers have been spending a lot on games and gaming accessories, and YouTrip noted 260% increase in these spending categories compared to the same period last year (January to September).
